Commercial Manager
Hunter Off-Site Limited has a unique opportunity for an experienced and professional Commercial Manager to join our groundbreaking team.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record and extensive knowledge within the new build residential market with a sound construction and trade knowledge. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the candidate will play a critical role in the successful delivery of the company's projects, and overseeing the technical, design, HR and purchasing departments.
You will be responsible for the commercial performance of projects, including all front end activities, negotiating contracts, co-ordination and project monitoring, meeting project contractual obligations, client liaison and promoting continuous improvement and best practice.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious and determined with a positive and confident attitude, working in a multi-disciplinary team with the ability to motivate others. They will ideally be Health & Safety aware, have knowledge of procurement methods, including Egan principles, and understand employment legislation.
A relevant industry or degree equivalent qualification is preferred. Off-site, Modern Methods of Construction and timber framed experience would be an advantage.
The successful candidate's remit includes face to face meetings with clients at a strategic level to ensure development of close client relations and commercial management during a project's lifespan.
