At Hunter Off-Site Limited (Hunter), we specialise and focus on the UK affordable housing market. From our production line we are able to deliver a single house, a number of houses or a group of flats, offering almost unlimited specification and design flexibility to meet the needs of current day clients. In order to achieve this we have developed a bespoke manufacturing process using state of the art machinery to ensure maximum flexibility at minimal cost.
Hunter delivers high specification homes using the process called Volumetric Off Site Manufacturing, V-OSM. The phrase Off Site Manufacturing indicates that the homes are built away from the building site, in a controlled factory environment. The prefix Volumetric indicates that individual stories or groups of rooms of dwellings leave the factory as complete modules, with walls, floors and ceilings in place, kitchens and bathrooms installed, services fully commissioned and all interiors finished. A dwelling may consist of more than one module, how many depending on its size and layout.
Hunter V-OSM homes are the next generation of timber frame homes; our fundamental difference is that we have innovated the manufacturing processes and not the materials we use; this has allowed us to work closely with organisations such as NHBC and LABC, to ensure our unique and innovative assembly process complies with all current industry standards and approved specifications.
